On Saturday, May 13, 2017, at 10:30am, HospiceCare of the Piedmont will host the 18th annual live butterfly release! This special occasion is sponsored by the Friends of Hospice Committee.
The event will be held in honor and in memory of special friends and family in our lives. The live butterflies are available for purchase at the cost of $10 each. A lovely note card will be sent to the person that you honor on your form… or a card to the family of the person that you are remembering. All forms must include complete addresses so that we may send the cards.
On the day you release the butterflies, you will receive a little white box that contains one butterfly. You will receive the number of butterflies that you purchase. You do not have to be present to release the butterfly. We will have children here to release butterflies purchased for those that cannot attend. The person that you honor or the family members of those you memorialize will receive information on their cards about the event. They will be invited to release the butterfly that you buy for them. Perhaps you can be present as well… it is up to you!
